Oklahoma City

Long drive yesterday!

There is basically NOTHING in Arkansas. It's very flat. It does get more mountain-ish in the western portion of the state. After that you fall into Oklahoma and then it's Indian reservation after Indian reservation after Indian reservation. And you know what that means...casino after casino after casino.

Eventually you find Oklahoma City which has an impressive skyline.

I picked a bad hotel again so I had to find a new one.

My plan today is to drive to Albuquerque, NM. I am going to take a slight detour after Amarillo to see the Cadillac Ranch heading down to old route 66. I need some sight seeing to break up these drives.

Charging the batteries in the camera so I will include pictures.

  4. My sister has lived in Oklahoma City for about 13 years. She loves it there. If I would have realized you were going there I could have asked her for some hotel advice for you - and eating establishments!
